Version: WorldFlash News Ticker Gold M7.68
"A True Rip-Off"
Pros: It's a halfway-decent news ticker, if you can stand the huge gaps that tend to occur between items, and the fact that you can't add custom URLs.
Cons: First of all, you can't add your own URLs to WorldFlash. Want to add Google News? You can easily get an RSS or Atom URL for Google News, but WorldFlash provides no way to use it. This is by design, so they can keep charging you $45.00 every two years, and pretend they're providing a "service".
How long has RSS been available? How many other RSS readers are there? There is absolutely no reason for a news ticker not to allow you to add your own URLs.
This is why I say it's a rip off. You can only use the news sources that are preconfigured, and you can't add your own. You can beg for them to add a new source, but don't count on it being added.

World Flash News Ticker has everything you need to keep you well informed 24/7. It is fully customizable and interactive.
It has over 100 news sources from International to Local to all other topics of interest, it has it all. You could choose which feeds you want and which feeds you dont want. You could even set them to ALERT you when new news comes in.
Furthermore, it has the stocks and weather ticker as well.
I has a great and easy to use RSS feed adder. You could add many many feeds from more news sources like AP, UPI, CNN and more. You could even get your favorite site news information and have it on the ticker. You can even add it to ALERT and it will ALERT you when new news updates comes in. On the weather side, you could add nws / spc feeds to recieve watches,warnings, outlooks,and more.
If a site has a RSS feed which is a code that allows you to get feeds from respected sites then it will bring you news updates whenever they are added.
Try it today, your'll be glad that you did. Staying informed in an interactive way never got easier.
The thing that makes WF great, among other things that the fact that the news is LIVE and its constantly updating.
RSS feeds get updated via the news site you add.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for news buffs, those who want to be informed, reporters and more.

I'm not sure what program this reviewer is using, but I had no problem adding my own list of RSS feeds to the news ticker.
It is very easy to add any content that is published in RSS/Atom form.
