Version: Workspace Macro 4.5.2
"Lot's of promise, can't deliver"
Pros: Easy to use and set up, with the ability to speed up macro process and edit macros later, hot keys to run macros.
Cons: I was trying to automate download of information from the web into Excel. I would record the Macros and they would work, only to not work in a few days. Granted I was making macros of tasks with lots of variables, but I would use keyboard shortcuts whenever possible. Bottom line, this program loses its way too often, even when recording simple tasks to be worth it.

"Very Good Application, exactly what I needed"
Pros: I have used this application for several months, and it works great. I use it for recording tasks on websites and excel spreadsheets. This application is flexible enough to wait for a web page to load or a document to open before it continues to process. This application is exactly what I needed and it is saving me a bunch of time.
Cons: The only con I have is when editing manually a macro. It can be very difficult to locate exactly the location that you may wish to modify. This con is very minor, and pales in comparison to all the benefits.

Pros: This product actually works as advertised - something I find somewhat amazing given all the rotten products out there that claim to fulfil this niche. Very good interface, macros replay smoothly and with enough smarts to adjust for obvious delays and changes. So far I've never once had to re-record a macro because of a failure of the recorder to play it back at the correct pace. Windows focus correctly and the macros are easy to repeat and replay. I was a big fan of Automate, but programming a complex macro from scratch takes a lot of time. This is much, much faster. It's priced right, too.
Cons: Well, like all macro recorders, the software still does what you tell it to do. So you have to use your noodle when you record your macro. For example, if you're trying to hit a download link that moves around, you'll have to find some other link around it that doesn't move, select it, and tab around to the correct link.
This isn't really a con of this software, it's a con of all macro recording software. This one is still far better than most I've seen.
