"Simple For Weight and Aerobic Training Records"
Version: Workout Tracker for Palm OS 4.14
Summary
I never had any problems that the other reviewers mentioned. Once you get the 'hang' of the program, it really is very simple. I am very pleased

"Great workout tracking application!"
Version: Workout Tracker for Palm OS 4.14
Summary
I've demo'd MANY workout tracking applications. I've even made a couple (or tried). Workout Tracker 4.x was the closest to what I've been looking for and it was very close. I've been working out for over 16 years, and have tried various paper and electronic methods. This app rocks on my Handspring Treo 300, and let me tell you why. 1. Customizable - I can edit existing or create almost any exercise I need to. I can pick what information is important to me about an exercise, sets, weight, reps for weight training. Time, calories, level, etc for cardio. 2. Routines - Many apps claim to have routines, some do and some really don't. WT has them. I can create a routine made up of exactly the exercises I will do on a particular day, and it's always there. 3. Memory - Whenever I start a new workout and pull up an exercise, WT reminds me what I did last time, so I don't waste time falling back to where I've already been. If you're palm shuts off while you?re pumping out some reps, or you get a call (I have Palm OS integrated phone) WT puts you right back where you left off. 4. Easy to Use - I figured 90% of the application without ever looking in the manual, it was that intuitive. The manual did clear some things up, and it's not that long. I was able to immediately adapt WT into my workouts. 5. Goals - WT lets me set goals and track progress. It comes with some basic charting functionality. It lets me know when I get reach a certain goal. WT has developed into an excellent tool for tracking fitness activities of all types - weight training, running, swimming, biking, and even kick boxing. There may be some slight drawbacks, but right now I'm too enamored with WT to notice. And honestly, only one other app I demo'd came close to the functionality that I needed - A customizable, routine-based, workout tracking system that was quick and easy to use.

"Great Idea! Perfect to take to the gym!"
Version: Workout Tracker for Palm OS 4.14
Summary
I was very excited about this product. The idea is just what I was looking for. It is a simple workout log, no nutrition or other unrelated data. I was very disappointed to find that many of the features did not work. When making a new exercise, it does not save. I did come across a number of error messages and freezing of my PDA.

"Good Enough for initial Workout data"
Version: Workout Tracker for Palm OS 4.14
Summary
In the 3.11 Ver. the bugs reported in the reviews seem to be repaired, or I haven't found them. It has some bugs, and I suppose it will be repaired later. The information you can get is good enough for me. And with the history data for the exercises/goal, you can quickly put in the reps, Weight, and Sets without interrupting your workout, using only 1 Tap.

"Interesting... but not bug free"
Version: Workout Tracker for Palm OS 4.14
Summary
The delivered excercises are good, but some basic functions don't work. If you add an exercise you can't delete it. The delete function doesn't work. Also if you modify a template, your changes aren't saved. Not something I would take to the gym with me.

"not bad, but..."
Version: Workout Tracker for Palm OS 4.14
Summary
It allows for different routines (ie upper body, lower body, Monday, Wedesday etc.) and tracks many variables (in addition to sets and reps, it allows for seat position, notes, etc). The graphing feature is nice. HOWEVER, when working with the goal section, a fatal error occurs and you are forced to reset your palm pilot. In addition, it is a memory hog.
