"useful and not redudant, best for test-takers and ESL vocabulary crammers"
Pros: As I'd like to put it, language learning is a complicated process, no single software product ever can manage to encompass all aspects of acquiring a new language, especially beyond the stage of upper-intermediate level. Moreover, any finished product comes with a limited and dead content. WordHacker integrates a myriad of functionalities in a simple interface with enough room to inspire and to mark down the user's comprehension about each word, thus providing with vocabulary crammers the opportunity to utilize it on their own terms while reading a book or surfing the internet. I recommand all users of this innovative product to note down whatever new word you come across and consult it every once in a while to get a good impression and precise understading about those newcomers. Yeah, you can use it as a multi-functioned dictionary and your personal database for vocabulary building over the long haul.

"Could be better, but it's decent."
Pros: There is a lot added to the software for good studying, especially the *real* pronunciation feature. Some software offer computerized pronunciations which sometimes aren't reliable. Though m-w.com's pronunciation is free and good (and real), it takes a really long time to load fluently (ads and stuff); but that's what wordhacker offers, especially for really large lists of words to learn. You can't keep waiting 5 seconds for each pronunciations. (though m-w.com is a great company).
Plus, the image search feature is a great plus and the examples are great.
Tech support is actually existing and prompt. They'll help you out.
Make sure you try it out and have some faith in the unexplored potential.
Cons: Again, could be better, for there's lots of potential in an innovative software.

Pros: The features are great. I'm homeschooling my 7th grader and this is a great tool to learn the vocabulary needed for high school and college.
Very easy to customize to the smallest details.
Cons: It took me a little bit to walk thru it, especially to load the SAT words list but if you are not sure about what to do contact support. Do not give up on this program, I think it is really one of a kind
