Do you play Scrabble, Literati, or Word Mojo? This program can help you beat any opponent. Word Game Solver takes the letters you input and finds all possible words that can be made from your letters. Not only does it search more than 250,000 words, but it comes packed with a host of extra features. You use wildcards (blank tiles) in your letter set, specify a minimum and maximum length for words, and sort found words alphabetically, by length, or by word score. Default letter-point values for Scrabble, Literati, and Word Mojo are included. Just choose your game. Play a different word game? Word Game Solver allows custom letter-point associations, so you can always find the highest-scoring word for your game. Plus, you can get dictionary and thesaurus information on any found word.

It helps to think of Word Game Solver less as an entertaining game and more of a tool for improving your performance when playing word games such as Scrabble. This program's interface isn't likely to win any awards, as its merely a boring gray box containing multiple fields and buttons. You enter any number and combination of letters, click a button, and the program will generate a list of words from your selected vowels and consonants. You can specify the minimum and maximum amount of letters the program should use to create words, and you can sort the list by several parameters, including highest-scoring in games such as Scrabble, Literati, and Word Mojo. In our tests, Word Game Solver quickly obtained results, but it sometimes generated words we couldn't find in a dictionary. We also think this app's five-day trial period is a bit stingy, especially considering its very limited functionality. Still, word-game addicts might at least take it for a test drive.

  Pros: I have downloaded this game, but it doesn't seem to be there.
