CNET Editors' review
The Adobe Portable Document Format file format simplifies the conversion from paper to electronic documents and between file and document types across a wide range of programs and platforms, and it's the format of choice for posting documentation online. Businesses and individuals that frequently need to convert documents written in Microsoft's Word into PDFs need a PDF conversion utility. Word-Pdf-Convert's Word/Doc to PDF Converter & Creator makes it easy to create new PDFs and convert Word documents, but it does much more. It will perform conversions on and among any document in any program in Microsoft's Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents.
The program downloads and installs easily, but you must restart your computer to complete the installation. The free version has complete functionality, but it is limited to performing just one conversion per time, whereas the share (registered) version performs batch conversions. The interface is clean and simple, just how we like it: Just a dialog box with a main window displaying selected files and buttons for choosing them, and a small window for output format for both documents and pictures. Tabbed options for Output Folder, Text, Word, PDF, and Excel are displayed below the main window.
If you use PDFs a lot or frequently need to convert documents to or from the PDF format or other Office file formats, or perform batch conversions of graphics files, Word/Doc to PDF Converter & Creator is worth a look. It's free to try, and the full version costs $49.95.

"Not really free"
Version: Word/Doc to Pdf Converter and Creator 5.6
Pros
It swears it installed kindly
Cons
* Unless you convert a few sentences, it will not convert a word doc to pdf for free.
* Barely in EnglishSummary
This was free but I still feel ripped off. Not only did the resulting pdf contain a mere 1/4 paragraph of my original document, but it had a huge blue letter header saying YOU MUST REGISTER TO GET A REAL CONVERSION. The UI was so messy that I don't trust them enough to actually buy the product.I'm going to run a spyware scan now, too. Avoid this piece of junk. I sure wish Adobe would let the Common Man create pdfs. This product though? It's a back alley friend that I don't need right now.

"Need better"
Version: Word/Doc to Pdf Converter and Creator 5.5
Pros
Quality looks good.
Cons
Low cost-effective.
Summary
With so expensive price to have not too many function so I think i prefer to choose the OX PDF Creator, though it is a new released one, but its cost-effective is high. Price is $26, functions are good. Free download supported, only a limitation of a small water mark on output PDF files. If not mind, needless to buy.

"It did not work and it was not free as promised."
Version: Word/Doc to Pdf Converter and Creator 5.1
Pros
Nothing - see below.
Cons
It was not free - I take a dim view of programs that tell lies like that. I would then not buy them on principle even if they were otherwise of interest.
However, apart from that, it did not work - so I deleted it. -
"Works pretty fine"
Version: Word/Doc to Pdf Converter and Creator 5.1
Pros
Woks pretty fine
Cons
An original Word 2002 .doc having one page only, is converted in a .pdf document of two pages, moving some of the last lines, i.e. the signature.
