  DOESNT WORK AT ALL

  Summary

  LOADED DVD FILES OK LOOKS LIKE ITS WORKING BUT ONLY GIVES A STRANGE ACCESS DENIED WHEN ITS DONE. NO VIDEO IS CONVERTED, FOLDERS CONTAIN 0KB. WOULD NOT ADD .AVI .MP4 OR UNCOMPRESSED YUYV. PERHAPS CNET TRIED A BOX SET? CUZ THIS IS THE MOST HORRIBLE YET. IT DID DOWNLOAD THOUGH WHICH IS MORE THAN I COULD SAY FOR ADOBE. IM ON XP PRO W/ ATI 6500 PRO CARD. NOT HIGH END BUT WORKS WELL WITH OTHER VIDEO PROGRAMS. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

  "Terrible-Ultimate for Mac doesnt do wot it says it does"

  Pros

  Its not overly expensive. It can rip DVDs.

  Cons

  Downloading web videos is difficult and often doesnt work.
  Upgrades dont fix anything.
  Product support often ends up accepting that there are faults with their programme and promises they will look into fixing it in the future. It hasn't happened yet.
  Not enough option in video size. Doesn't work well for 16:9 videos. Adds letterbox to everything when making DVDs.
  In trying to make it "simple" to use they have left out many options that would be useful.

  Summary

  This product is far from "Ultimate".
  I would advise you to stay clear of it.

  "If it's Wondershare you know it's excellent!"

  The best ... EVER!

  None, nada, niente...!

  Summary

  I was lucky, I got this great program for free, and it's the best Converter out there. I had 6 or 7 Converters - all gifts from Giveaway sites. I did not know which was better so I tried them all. After Wondershare I uninstalled 5 of them and kept only two: MacX HD Video Converter and Wondershare Ultimate. Finally my search for that perfect Converter is over!

  "Very slow. DVD to Wii SDHC card. 13 hours 73% complete."

  UI looks good. Easy to start. From what I've read the WonderShare support is great!

  Cons

  DVD to Wii convert extremely slow. 1.7GB movie 13 hours and displays 7 hours to go. Based on this; a full 4GB movie should take 2+ days to convert. If this normal than this is unacceptable for my use.

  Summary

  C|NET and WonderShare made this sound so good so I bought this $40.00. If this software was free I would uninstall and look for something else alot quicker. PLEASE NOTE I've only tried the DVD to Wii feature which I;m quessing C|NET couldn't test drive. I haven't contacted WonderShare yet for help but I will. I'm sure WonderShare didn't intend/design DVD to Wii process to span over 2 days to convert. Maybe I need to re-install software. I'm running this on a dual-core 1.6GHz intel system with 2GB ram and 500GB HDD.
