    "Poor at best"

    April 6, 2014  |   By Fname_gr

Version: Wondershare Video Converter Pro 7.0

I think it works. Well it does produce a result if it doesn't throw an error in the beginning.

I didn't really spend much time with this. Totally free from a coupon so I should have no problem if it wasn't that good. Bad when there is false advertisement. I hate it. I have both AMD and Nvidia gpus. Even enabling gpu encoding it doesn't work. GPUs are sleeping in the whole process, a process that compared with other encoders that only use cpu is SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. I have a six core Phenom and I was feeling like I was back in the days I had an old dual core Athlon X2 at half the Phenom's speed and with the one third of the cores. That "up to 30 times faster" they advertise. Well most times it will be about 30 times slower than other encoders without fancy technology(we all laugh here LOUD).

Also that thing that you can't start again a task that you just finished? Really really stupid. Why? I want to try various encodings to find the best and you force me to delete the task and then add it again and select again the settings and then set again the clip limits?

Well I didn't payed for that piece of garbage that looks good but it is nothing more than garbage with a nice interface. That puts me in the category of people that just lost time. I pity those who will pay for this program.

Find a free version of the program and see for yourselves. Don't pay for false advertisings.
