"NOT a free 30 day trial"
Version: Wondershare Music Converter 1.3.3
Pros
None to speak of
Cons
On the so-called free 30 day trial, output is limited to 60 seconds per file.
-
"It sucks, only converts 60 seconds of the audio file."
Version: Wondershare Music Converter 1.2
Pros
Nice interface.
Cons
The trial version does nothing.

"BOGUS PRODUCT AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE"
Version: Wondershare Music Converter 1.2
Pros
not one thing
Cons
The product semi-works in "trial mode" and completely craps out in "fully purchased mode" . Upon speaking with customer service rep "John" the fun began...
Summary
I had the SAME EXACT ISSUES as another reviewer with "John" from the Wondershare customer service department. I had taken to emailing him once a day because not only was he NOT helpful and was denying me upper management aid for my refund, he was stretching his responses out so that I was nearing the 30 day refund window with absolutely NO ANSWERS in sight. This is a sub-par product to say the least and Wondershare is not only cheating customers for their money they are not accomodating at all with those of us requiring custmer service.
CONSUMERS BEWARE --> You not only will be highly dissatisfied but you'll also be losing out on $49.95 that could be better spent on a product that actually works. -
"Product did not convert Music Match DRM files"
Version: Wondershare Music Converter 1.2
Pros
The product did not work for me.
Cons
When I found that it didn't work I had the toughest time with Customer Service agent "John."
Summary
This is crappy software that may or may not work on your DRM files. Certainly if the DRM licensing company no longer supports your licenses, like Music Match and Yahoo! Music, you're out of luck; Wondershare can't help you. It would have been nice to know that the software couldn't help under those circumstances; it's not written anywhere on their website.
When I tried to get a refund, that' when the real trouble started. Customer Service agent "John" would not allow me to go over his head to review my specific case. In other words, he simply would not give me contact information for anyone at his company. On top of that, he was the most condescending Customer Service agent I've ever had the opportunity work with. At any rate, I had to contact VISA who refunded my the money.
Bottom line, find other software for your DRM issues. Wondershare simply is not as useful as their website advertises. -
"Only a 30 second convert available"
Version: Wondershare Music Converter 1.2
Pros
small file
Cons
only a 30 second convert limit
-
"Good but slow"
Version: Wondershare Music Converter 1.2
Pros
Works but as mentioned in other reviews, it is slow.
Cons
Grken and black interface hard for me to see.
Summary
Looks like a good product but not for those wth large files to convert quickly.

"Good product but slow. Customer Support is good"
Version: Wondershare Music Converter 1.2
Pros
Had no problem converting DRM WMA files to MP3; other combinations were also okay. In contacting customer support (see cons) I got quick responses with valid information. User interface is simple enough.
Cons
Conversion time is very slow: it is real-time. So your 4:23 track takes 4:23 to convert. Customer support says this is a frequent complaint that they are working on.
Summary
If you convert files occasionally, this is a great tool. If you have to bulk-convert alot of files, this application is still good, but you should probably let your PC convert at night while you're sleeping.
The slow conversion time is a problem, but the simplicity of use and the accuracy of conversion makes it worth using. I hope they fix this issue soon. -
"Fine Software. Trial output limited to 1 minute"
Version: Wondershare Music Converter 1.2
Pros
It did convert DRM protected iTunes m4b audiobook file to mp3, and the UI is extremely user-friendly.
Cons
The trial allows conversion up to 1 minute. I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere that the trial is limited to 1 minute. In any case, a 30-day free trial seems too good to be true. The limitation pops up when you press the 'start' button.
Summary
Instead of wasting my time trying to find some fine print that might mention the limitation, I will give the publisher the benefit of the doubt that it must be because of my poor eyesight or lack of patience that I couldn't find it. If no one else can find it either, then consider this review as a protest against dishonest advertising.

"Does the job ok"
Version: Wondershare Music Converter 1.0.0.23
Pros
As a basic converter / DRM remover it does what it is made to do.
Cons
Not much room for adjustments.
Summary

"terrible. absolutely horrendous. don't download!"
Version: Wondershare Music Converter 1.0.0.23
Pros
none at all.
Cons
the free version only lets you convert files up to ONE MINUTE in length. that's retarded. how am I expected to buy something I don't know works very well? I need to try it before I buy it. I'm that sort of guy.
Summary
it sucks. don't download, you'll be wasting your time. ...unless you want to convert files under 1:00 in length? might work great for you then..
