Version: Wise Registry Cleaner 3 Free 3.51 build 119
"Very good registry cleaner"
Pros: Wise Registry Cleaner is an impressive free registry cleaner. It allows you to scan for invalid CLSID, TypeLib, Interface, Paths, All User, Current User, Application Paths, File Types, Help Files, Fonts, Shared DLL, User MRU Lists, Uninstall Section, Start Menu, Startup Program, Sound and AppEvents, and IE URL History entries. It is very easy to use and by clicking on an entry it finds, it tells you why it came up in the results. It's very easy to understand too. Entries with a green checkmark next to them are safe to fix, while entries with a yellow ! next to them may be unsafe to fix. It has buttons that will automatically check all entries that the program confirms are safe to fix, and another button that checks all entries. The program also automatically backs up deleted entries so they can be restored if you delete one or more entries that shouldn't have been deleted. I highly recommend this product.
Cons: Like most registry cleaners (both freeware and trialware), Wise Registry Cleaner doesn't pick up every registry entry that may be obsolete. I know this because I have Max Registry Cleaner on my machine, which picks up entries Wise Registry Cleaner misses. Of course, that's typical of any registry cleaner :P.
