Version: Wise Disk Cleaner 3 Free 3.74
"Works (sometimes too well)."
Pros: i used to do this manually (search, delete). now it can be done automatically . . . sort of.
Cons: you MUST review the search results BEFORE you delete them. some files are in directions marked "Do not delete these files.", while other user files have the same file types (*.log).
Summary: just like any other system & file utility program, if you don't know what you're doing, then either DON'T do it, or use the DEFAULT settings.
this is a great tool for both newbies & pros.
