    "Summery of the SP1"

    July 12, 2004  |

Version: Windows XP Service Pack 1a (SP1a) 1a

    Summary

    I ordered SP1 from microsoft.com.[free]
Like some of the reviewers claimed: the softwares does make ur computer slugish. It includes: Games[I "think" they are only links/improvements, such as pinball, internet checkers...], USB 2.0 Hi-Speed drivers(came in handy), An improved Command module (CMD)Back up login and boot screens just incase. PLUS others*. Oh, it also includes screensavers! Microsoft is some work huh?

    "After install, defrag"

    June 12, 2004  |

Version: Windows XP Service Pack 1a (SP1a) 1a

    Summary

For all of you that have had troubles with lagging machines after installing SP1, don't fret. After installing the service pack, defragment your hard drive. Then find some kind of a registry cleaning program from download.com and use it to get rid of all the inconsistencies in your registry. It may be as simple as that. I'm running a custom made machine, and it took a while for me to install. You should do it though, and do what I said. Just as an opinion that is. I know it's hard to take advice from text ;)

"Wake Up People, Power Breeds GREED!"

    June 5, 2004  |

Version: Windows XP Service Pack 1a (SP1a) 1a

    Summary

The reason it does not work for some people is they have boot leg Disk's.Microsoft cares only about money. They could care less if the product they manufacturer and sell works properly or not.If I were Bill Gates I would be giving the system out for FREE by now.It has so many FLAWS hackers will continue to exploit it.When I sell a product or labor I guarentee it 100% or your money back. Does Microsoft offer a guarentee HELL NO! Do they offer a discount because their product does not work properly HELL NO!But they continue to con people into paying Waaaaaaayyyy to much for their incomplete product. This system DOES report back to them WAKE UP!Get a FIREWALL like ZoneAlarm Pro to keep this rogue system from reporting on YOU.Microsoft is so scared they will loose $1.00 they fill the need to spy on people without you knowing.Look to the EAST.Europe sells boot leg MS XP Pro with SP1 and a key changer for you know what($60).The Disks work great and the generated key codes will even fool MS. Good Luck!
