"Wrong category, NOT XP Mediacenter;d/l link to M$ Vista"
Version: Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
Pros
wrong category wrong category wrong category
Cons
of course its a con, CNET would get powned by by M$ if they actually posted bootleg M$ software. And why can't I select zero stars for the mandatory rating.
Summary
The information link goes to a keyboard driver update page and the download link goes to a Microsoft page that says if you buy Vista Ultimate you will have Media Center. This is not XP Media Center which is an partner oem only product, there is no "upgrade" version for XP. Microsoft has 30 day trial versions of Vista Ultimate for download. The "Windows 7 release candidate", the beta expires 3/2010 and is basically Vista Ultimate service pack 2. As beta software that expires it should be "free to try" not "free".
