Version: Windows Media Player 11
"If you don?t have it you must have it."
Pros: Very useful media player it can play anything from mp3 to mpeg4, it is really needed for you. I am a lover of itunes but I still like this one. This opens very fast and loads the thing you want to play very fast.
If you like listening something from internet like radio streaming you defiantly need this I listen to radio and I swear to you I use it everyday.
If you don?t have it you must have it.
Dose some things that other media players don?t
Cons: Could be more organized better, like itunes

Version: Windows Media Player 11
Pros: This version is pretty good. It's added some much needed features like cd burning and ripping, and support for portable devices like Ipod.
The intergrated radio tuner is a good thing for those of who can't get anything but local stations. There's some cool skins out there.
Cons: I'd like to see more hd content from microsoft make some deals or something. It's kinda clunky in full mode but can be switched to skin mode in a snap.
Alot of the skins and plugins only work for version 9.Microsoft needs to stop giving us a need for other players.

Version: Windows Media Player 11
Pros: New CD ripping works well with my mp3 selection, the mixer to me is microsoft's claim to-fame, Skins and ambiences.
Cons: It's always gonna be stuck with windows, like IE. but I use winamp for audio, and windows for video.

Version: Windows Media Player 11
"At least it's better than Real and Quicktime"
Pros: Decent for playing video. I prefer WMV files and Windows Media Player VASTLY over anything from Real or Quicktime. Getting CD info from the net is pretty cool too.
Cons: Bloated. Integrated into your system and won't uninstall (D@mn Micro$oft!!). Version 10 will only install on Windows XP and Longhorn. Not that that's a big deal, I don't use it. I use Zoom Player for video and Foobar2000 for music.
If you have WMP version 7.4 or version 8.0, you shouldn't bother upgrading. "Microsoft: Because you have no choice" :)
