Version: Windows Media Player (Windows XP) 9
Pros: Better version than WMP6 and 8. Interface is nice and supports a lot of file formats. Easy to use and the Media Library is easy to manage.
Cons: Freezes somtimes on beginning of playing media upon it's run but for only a couple of seconds. Sometimes it slows-down. Doesn't support MOV and OGG files. Requires some high quality video cards with at least 64mb capacity for playing video files(it prefers NVIDIA or ATI chipsets).

Version: Windows Media Player (Windows XP) 9
Pros: It plays music and videos
Cons: The UI is confusing,it has too much feature you'll never use,it's more cpu consuming than all other media player,it doesn't support a lot of media types.
I'm living well without using it (i can listen and watch everything using better players)
