"THE Best software to play music & video"

    July 1, 2005  |   By vijayaraghavan2k5

Version: Windows Media Player (Windows 98SE/2000/Me) 9

    Pros

The sound effects that can be added are good. The SRS WOW effect is one not to be missed. It provides great sound effect. The docking of the player to the taskbar is very much helpful.

    Cons

The equalizer does'nt function too well. Otherwise, this player is no.1

"IT'S OK IF YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE"

    June 29, 2005  |   By littlefred

Version: Windows Media Player (Windows 98SE/2000/Me) 9

    Pros

It works, as do all MS apps. Is pretty good for music.

Best thing about it is that it's stable, which is actually saying a lot.

    Cons

PATHETIC for video. Will not play an inexcusable number of Video files. There are many better players around. Is not easy to edit the playlist.

    "Excellent Music Quality"

    March 13, 2005  |   By Ken Deyell

Version: Windows Media Player (Windows 98SE/2000/Me) 9

    Pros

Allows you to enjoy the wonderful world of "Multimedia".Very functional, and practical.Great player.Reading other reviews, a common comment was about no "uninstall" feature.I have W98SE and it is listed in "Add/Remove Prog."

    Cons

There can be a connection problem with DSL service unless the EnterNet software is up to date.

    "No parallel"

    January 30, 2005  |   By afakirani

Version: Windows Media Player (Windows 98SE/2000/Me) 9

    Pros

i've tried many media players including winamp, itunes, ashampoo (Whisset), quicktime, but none gave me the functionability that WMP 9 did. for someone who has thousands of music files, no program gives you this much feasibility in terms of creatiing personal playlists and helping organize my files. the auto playlist feature is great and the music data retrival system is unique to this media player.

    Cons

the drawback is the types of meida it can play. it is not as extensive as a program like ashampoo (which i also recommend for those who have many different media file types)

"Go ahead ! Admit that u WANT IT !"

    November 24, 2004  |

Version: Windows Media Player (Windows 98SE/2000/Me) 9

    Summary

Finally , Microsoft Windows Media Player has produced a sibling equal to Winamp in every respect

    Pros Of WMP 9 over Winamps , Musicmatch Jukeboxes,Quick times,Real Ones,Soniques,Zoom,DivXs,XnView etc.:

    1.Unlimited CD Burning
2.Radio , CD TAsking & Integrated Media Library
3.All in one roof type outlook
    4.Fully freehand resizing of windows
5.Lot of Formats for Media Files
6.Total convertibility from one format to another by simple renaming and extension changing in windows explorer and followeed by only hassle-free playback
    7.Cool full mode viewing
    8.Multitasking in a single window
    9.Ezee Playlists
10.Superb hang free Quality Playback of CDs
11.Total Music Playback ability i.e : no skips
    12.Ezee unistall

Now , I read most of the user reviews as negative before download of the product summed up with solutions as under :

1.No Unistall / blue screen oriented system crashes - Totally filthy lie unless ther system is crappy / sth else is wrong

2.Old formats not playable - If u guys know DOS Please convert :

    pls <-> m3u
    mp3 <-> wma
    mpeg <-> wmv

3.I use W98SE without a problem with WMP9.I dont recommend OSs like ME,NT,2K etc. because not only do they support less apps but they also restart system at every error. This yet isn't a flaw but the birth of an innovation from MS

4.Most of us get systems remade from the grey market's services.I would like to tell all of u that these guys arent reliable and neither are their services any good. They are just carpenters & not inventors.Contct me at my email
    for solutions in this area

In turn could u tell me when

    1.Winamp 2.91 & WMP 7 were launched ?

2.Is there any news of another WMP after 9 Series for more formats ?

    Please contact me at :

    invincibleagt@yahoo.com

With the problem and i'll solve it unless its beyond my scope and then rate this software.
