I agree, it was a completely stupid thing to do not having Windows Media 9 for Windows 98 first edition. I payed good money for this OS and I think I deserve to get some updates for the software that came with it. Plus I'm VERY sure way more people have the first edition of Win 98 rather then 98 SE. Stupid thing for Microsoft to do but hopefully they will come out with Media 9 for the first edition.

Well, microsoft has made a good jukebox like music player for us all again. I like it in all, it's just that I continue find it hard to sort it by artist. Not only that I have lots of problems using WMP9 for launch. I think I need to read the help manual.

This is the best version of Windows Media Player ever. It has a beautiful interface and lots of new options that will help you organize you media collection. The best part is that you can add DSP plugins to the player. However, there is only one that I know Dee 2 for WMP 9. You'll love it !!!!!!

Did I just screw up? I can't unload this and if I play any MP3 using it I will not be able to play the song on any other PC? HELP? I am afraid to play anything!
