Version: Windows Live Messenger 14.0.8089.0726
"Slow start-up outweighs its advantages"
Pros: Easy download and installation. Functions quite well.
Cons: With a slow-starting, high resource using virus scan program, Live Messenger greatly slowed start-up time. Since I mainly use my phone to text, disadvantages of Live Messenger outweighed its positives and I removed it a few days after installation.
Summary: Great if you communicate primarily through your laptop. Slow start and and high resource usage is a problem.
