"Great new and enhanced features if only they all worked"
Pros
Gotta love the much improved security
Cons
Biggest feature (the one touted by Microsoft as a Big time saver) failed my every attempt to get it to work.
Summary
Would have loved to give this 5 stars for the new features alone. But... Overall performance is faster on my machine than v.7. Searching internet is much improved and I love the fact that I can open a window that prevents placing cookies or logging history of any site I go to in that window (or it's offsprings). Also able to block sites from tracking what kind of choices i make on their pages to forward to others--advertizing, etc. OK, now for the downside. Many have had trouble with various aspects of IE8 not working properly or at all. I was looking forward to having the ability to email and entire web page with just a couple clicks. No go. will not accept Yahool Mail for this function and the accelerator Add to Any that is supposed to allow this doesnt. BOO. So 3.5 stars for some great bells and whistles.
