Version: Winamp 5.55
"Winamp v5.55 Pro is totally worthless"
Pros: The Older versions of WinAmp media player had been one the best around, but v5.55 has nosedived in it's ability to handle large media libraries, my advice is to find and switch to a better media player, like AIMP v2.5.
Cons: Disappointed with v5.55, failure to load a large mp3 music library, after several attempts, kept freezing @ 47%, also the CPU is stuck at a constant 100%, only way to abort WinAmp is to use the windows task manager and end the program
Summary: WinAmp v5.55 is unstable a resource hog and will lock-up your PC, the Lama needs to be buried alive, then rewritten and built from the ground up, then given back to the large and loyal user/fan base that WinAmp did have a hold over before the greed had set in it's veins, once completed should be given back @ no cost, that means FREE, for the loyal WinAmp users that still out there.
