"Good Music App. Supports Many Types Of Music."
Version: Winamp 5.24
Pros
Winamp is very useful for audio. It supports many types of media files. Has a drag and drop playlist editor. And organizes your audio well.
Cons
Is not very good with video files. It likes to be the main audio player.

"Still The Best"
Version: Winamp 5.24
Pros
It does pretty much anything you want from an MP3 player, including a browsable media library, a fantastic range of skins and (optional) web info on the playing song.
Cons
No in-program updating system. Each new version means another full program download. No ability to ID3 tag multiple songs.

"Great freeware music player"
Version: Winamp 5.24
Pros
Winamp is great for all kinds of things. Besides just playing local music and video, you can rip and burn cds. You also get access to tons of online resources, such as AOL radio, AOL videos, In2TV, ShoutCast Radio, ShoutCast TV, SingingFish Search, and Winamp Music.
The player is also very customizable, with hundreds of available skins and lots of plugins.
Another great feature is the ease of use and overall flexibility. I especially love creating playlists for my H300 music jukebox. Winamp also supports numerous filetypes for both audio and video. I've found it's the most compatible compared to other players, including WMP. It is great for streaming music off of 3rd party online radio stations (my favorite is OCRemix at ormgas.com).
Best of all, this player is FREE!!!
Cons
The 'deluxe' version, Winamp Pro, is not free. Also, popular TV servers are usually full.

"Great... Just great for use with winamp.com"
Version: Winamp 5.24
Pros
This is a great media player with many features and options. Shoutcast TV and In2TV, as well as satelite radio stations and thousands of previews and songs from winamp.com are the only features I use in Winamp.
Oh yeah, there's some free MP3s, too :)
Cons
Resource-heavy
Updates are few and far-between
Not very secure, but neither is anything that AOL has taken over... damn AOL... don't they ruin everything? First the internet, then Netscape, then Winamp, now this ActiveSecurity Monitor crud, seriously, what's next? Firefox?
Certain features refuse to work
