Summary
With its intuitive interface and wide range of features, WINAMP 5.08 is an excellent product, but its soure codes needs alot of work. It always freezes itself, or my PC. I have the latest and greatest in technology, so my computer's no slouch and I know what I'm doing. My only recommendation is "Use it at your own RISK". If you want to run chkdsk all the time or loss valuable data because this program crashes your PC with no other choice than yanking the power or resetting, then dont use this program. Try another. WINAMP will leave you scrathing your head with loss chains and clusters on your hard-drive,and missing data. I admit, 70% of the time it would play, but I couldnt open a drop down menu half the time without it freezing. Drop an MP3 in the sorter, FORGET A'BOUT IT! I'm going to try 2..... something. But it is the best audio program I've ever used. Just be-ware its malicious code.

Been useing winamp 5, a good wile now, and played a song in media player the sounds i could were very poor. But this prigram has a great ecq so u can make all your songs amazing and with great tv. IF you buy you get a faster ripping rate and burning rate. Might use a few com resourses but ow well when u get better sound base treb you name it. 5 star and higher. No spyware or adware

I have always been a Winamp user. Tried many others and the ones that do have a "slight" better sound quality are very big on size and resources. The rest just are not of good sound quality at all. Jetaudio is a very good example of this! Winamp is overall good quality, easy on resources, and very easy to use.
