Version: WinZip 11
"Overpriced and behind compared to 7-Zip/IZarc"
Pros: Useful if you wish to fork out the cash... Nice classic user interface.
Cons: I paid for WinZip years ago when I got updates for life... life until Corel. WinZip was great before Corel's parent company got it's hands on it. 7-Zip may not be as pretty , but it is extremely functional and will be offering AES-ZIP encryption soon (it is in beta now). WinZip adds WavPack support, pay for it if you like, but that is free and open source.
Take the money you would have spent on WinZip and donate to the free/open source product 7-Zip.
