The software can unzip files and is easy to use.
Cons
All I want is to occasionally unzip a file - occasionally, as in two or three times a year. The cost of the product is way too much for that small amount of use.
Summary
WinZip used to offer an unzipping app for free but charge for the full application that included the zipping capability. A lot like Adobe does with its reader. Seemed to me that made a lot of sense. Now they only offer a 30-day trial then you have to buy the full product even if you only need the unzip function. My rating would be five stars for the functionality of what I used, but 0-1 stars to the company for their hard line, no-free-lunch policy. Fortunately, there are other folks out there who cater to the little people and our little needs. :)

Ok, so I really think this program is great, I've owned, used it and upgraded it since 1999.
Cons
However, since taking it over Corel has decided to bundle it with other software, avg search in particular, that I absolutely do not want. The last upgrade, which I paid for, just installed avg withe express install. I am not going thru all my browser programs returning to my default search page to what it was before (the winzip express install overwrote this) as well as returning my default search provide (again the winzip express install overwrote this).
This is nonsence - esp. for a paid app.Summary
In short 5 starts for the program itself - 3 stars for Corel's unacceptable (to me) bundling of AVG search with the express install.
