Pros: Easy-to-use interface. Fast uncompression. The exe file maker is excellent comparing to programs like 7-zip which you need a lot of programming knowlegde to do.
Cons: Standard cost 30 dollars while some 50 dollar for the pro version. Little over priced.
Summary: WinZip is definitely the king of Zip file extractor/compressor. Go ahead and try it. But if you don't want to waste money, go try ALZip or 7-Zip. read more

Pros: It works great, but is still very pricey. The consumer does not have many choices when it comes to zipped files as Winzip and Winrar have a monopoly on this software field. I think I will stick with opensource-Source Forge and the software program 7-zip which does the same as winzip and winrar for free and more extensions.
Cons: Too expensive, for the same old thing.
