"Works adequately but has to be forced to close."

It does what it says. It's a simple program with a simple task.
Cons
It almost always refuses to go away, and I have to force it to close. This is very tedious. It also makes me wonder how much thought went in to other aspects of it's 'integration' with the MAC OS.
Summary
I'd go with a program specifically designed to play nice with a MAC OS. If it won't close it makes me wonder where else it might be functioning inappropriately, even if it's merely a resource issue.

Lets you add files to an already zipped file
Cons
You can not rename files once they are zipped. I head a migraine headache when I finished doing three zips and now I find out I have to start all over again due to a spelling error on a folder inside the zip rather than being able to just rename the file.
Summary
I would not use this if file names are important to you.

Nothing with the name Win goes on my Mac. Besides, Stuffit does everything I want AND it's been a loyal Mac product for years. I see no reason to change.

Easy to use interface and program doesn't effect the file system like Stuffit Deluxe does that effecst trojan & anti-virus software.Cons
I would like to see Winzip for Mac to expand and support other compression formats.

A good value if you need to frequently send or share files using the Zip compression format.
