It was a present so cost me nothing.
Until I started to install this I was a happy and well balanced person. After several hours of attempting to get this to work I am a mere shadow of my former self and am sitting here surrounded by empty gin and valium bottles.
saw t his product in dentist office and wanted to use it myself.
It has not been usable at all so far.
Couldn't get it to work at all. More instruction is needed if more equipment is required. Seemed like a good idea.
is doesn't work, when installed it says missing components
Useless and so is the Hauppauge WinTV support.
On the first time trying to use it I got a dll error message. So I uninstalled it
and did it all over again thinking that would do the trick.No. The second time
I used it I got a missing file message.I went to hauppauges web site to get the driver that was missing and downloaded that. Made one final attempt to use the program, now I get a Initialization Error. Totally Frustrating,I'm done with it.
As others found - it won't work because apparently something is missing! Surely Hauppauge must know this!!
It works alright. It stands for what it says it does.
I had to do some research to find out that you actually need to install a driver from the Hauppauge support page. To save you time, here is the link to download it: /hauppauge.lightpath.net/software/wintvnt/w2kdrv311.exe
This does not work at all.

I have formated my harddisk and can't find the link to download to my Windows XP Home Edition, and hope you could e-mail me a link so that I can make it work again. It worked excellent on the link I downloaded before I formated my harddisk. (WinTV2000,
When I click on the icon I downloaded (WinTV2000, 4.12.24) the commentary "missing component" comes up (hcwTVWnd.dll). My operativesystem is Windows XP Home
Works, captures, records well. Not a bad program.
Hard to figure out how to set the quality of your recording or you capture.
