Fast, powerful, simple. I have been able to compress huge images to about 10% of their original size (without any noticeable quality loss), allowing me to email them without going over usage limits or spending an eternity uploading. In a perfect world everyone would be using WinRAR.

Very powerful and convenient tool.
Cons
Compression for JPG photos, MP 3 files for my I POD plaer, Adobe Reader PDF files (PDF Magazines), Flash Plaer SWF files, ZIP, JAR, or PNG files is not optimal. So I use WinRAR along with OverZip Compression Booster 4 add-on to improve compression on such files.
