From Microcad:WinQcad is a complete electronics design software. It includes schematics and PCB (printed circuit board) modules. The schematic module supports flat design, simple hierarchy, and complex hierarchy (providing for multiple instances of the same schematics). The part/net list generated by the schematic module provides a link to the PCB module which supports interactive and automatic placement of elements, a manual and full automatic wire routing, as well as an exhaustive DRC test.
Version 40 features: a status bar added to each interactive program; many new schematic libraries added to the package.

"dont knoe what to make of it"
Pros: its a small file
Cons: dont knoe what to make of it.all i get is a dos window

"Great SW version 42. Now only $25 for 500 pin."
Pros: Does it all! Schematic capture, PCB layout package edit auto route and hand route. print or plot
Cons: Only 1 fault cannot print from each of the tools as you develope your product. Prints schematic and finished PCB layout, hole pattern and traces.
Summary: Wow $25 and you are in the schematic capture and PCB layout business. Very simple to use in an hr your are designing and in 4 you can complete your project.
