Pros: I have been using WinPatrol for a few years now and it is a really fantastic little program. It alerts you to everything new and if you buy the full version you can get all the information about that alert. It tells you whether or not the alert is safe or not if you're not sure. GREAT!!
Cons: Nothing!!

"This review does not mention the free version of winpatrol :-("
Pros: So Scotty the computer user,s dog has been replaced by pinky the squirrel? Was it to good to be true having Scotty warning Me that a newly installed programe was adding itself to My start-up list?It was My best friend(as it saved boot up time a lot)Has Scotty been put to sleep by a compassionate vet?If so I hope he was well rewarded in his final doggie days! ;-( for his many years of service ;-),$$$$$ always come into what starts out as freeware.
Cons: Winpatrol under Scotty was a faithful servant(excellent unobtrusive low resource usage,May he R.I.P Woof woof ;-)

Pros: I have used WinPatrol for years and install it on all of my client's computers. There's nothing to compete with this when it comes to keeping a PC lean, mean, and clean of malware.
