    ""This program does not work""

    September 17, 2011  |   By donvancouver

If it worked it would be great.

It created a hidden folder"Winmend~Folder~Hidden" on everyone of my " NINE" Hard Drives
I could not delete these files even when the program has been uninstalled.

I did a test using Winmend on a small folder. I tried to hide it and then tried to unhide it.
    I did nothing in between.
The software set the folder to Winmend~Folder~Hidden
And the software put an entry with this name "Winmend~Folder~Hidden" on everyone of my " NINE" Hard Drives. I could not delete these folders and spent several hours trying different delete methods. I finally managed to get rid of them by using IObit unlocker.
I would never trust this program even if it worked on any critical data.

Thank you for suggesting IObit Locker. It worked! I am one of the "victims" (sithorse, the commentator before you) of this software. I must choose "unlock and delete" (not just "unlock") in IObit in order to delete the folders. I recommend TrueCrypt for those who want to create encrypted files and drives. Been using it for a couple of years in XP, Vista and Win 7, and no problems.
