"Looks good, but only paid version is functional"

    August 11, 2013  |   By Tripper33

    Version: WinCalendar 4.10

    Pros

Looks very good and clearly presented info
    Transfer from google is easy

    Cons

Too limited functionality; not enough entries transfer
Too Costly for something that can be done for free with several other programs

    Summary

I thought this would be a good addition to my google calendar offline. At first it seemed very good. But I realized that only one or two calendar entries are transferred to wincalendar in the FREE version.
I don''t feel that it is worth the ANNUAL $99 fee to get the paid version. I have uninstalled it!

"Fine, until you want to uninstall"

    February 20, 2013  |   By Specimen_Unknown

    Version: WinCalendar 3.48

    Pros

    The install was easy

    Cons

I can't remove it. When you run the uninstall it leave files everywhere, including within the registry. It is impossible to get rid of and now every time I open Excel I receive an error message. I am pretty computer literate but even my IT department is having a hard time removing all the tentacles this program has left behind.

    Summary

Don't do it....unless you are certain that you will never want to uninstall it.

"A cool work around for creating DIY Pocket Calendars"

    January 11, 2013  |   By John-RegardingSolutions

    Version: WinCalendar 3.46

    Pros

I was upset that Google has very limited options for formatting and printing out their calendars.
WinCalendar allows me to import my info right into Excel and format it just the way I want. Now I can keep my online calendar AND print out a paper version to carry with me and make appointments.

    Cons

This software does cost money to get the features I want. However, I'm starting to get more excited about paying developers to keep on creating products like this.

    Summary

A nice tool to add to the kit for creating an integrated online-pocket scheduling tool.
