Version: WinCalendar for Windows, Word & Excel 2.57
"Excellent calendar print formatting"
Pros: - allows more formatting options than google calendar
- allows multiple google calendards to be inserted in a word/excel document
- well integrated with word/excel toolbars
-surprisingly fast insertion of calendarsCons: -inserted calendar can't be updated in situ but must be deleted and re-inserted
Summary: Getting data out of a special calendar format into a word document opens up all sorts of possibilities for formatting and using the data. Perhaps an ability to prsent the data in XML would be a useful widening of the possible applications. After one day it has already transformed my printing of Google calendars because of its increased formatting flexibility. I particularly value the ability to insert a given number of weeks of calendar. I don't like the way that a calendar is always inserted in a new word/excel document rather than at the cursor position. The Windows popup really offers v. little functionality.
-inserted calendar can reference only 3 google calendars. I need more.
-the Windows popup calendar always starts the week on Sundays
