WinASO Registry Optimizer will scan your Registry for errors in order to optimize machine performance. The trial version is limited to correct ten errors in a single scan.
System speed-up tools: Although WinASO is billed as a Registry optimizer, it has all the tools needed to generally improve computer performance. In "System Optimizer" mode, it will scan your system and make suggestions for increasing overall performance. This includes hardware optimization, startup optimization, and more.
Data recovery tool: The program also includes a tool that helps you recover data you've accidentally deleted. Like all tools of this type, it is not a sure thing, but we were able to recover some deleted files during testing.
Clunky interface: The design and interface are out of date.
Forced website launch: When you finish installing the program, it auto-launches a website. This is one of the most frustrating features of an installer.
Limited trial version: The trial version is extremely limited. It will only allow you to correct ten Registry errors per scan.
If you don't currently have a tool for optimizing your computer's performance, WinASO certainly seems to work. However, there is other software out there with more fully featured trials and a better interface.
Editors' note: This is a review of the trial version of WinASO Registry Optimizer 4.8.7.

What's new in this version:
Version 5.2: enhancement in registry cleaner to better serve Windows 10.
I can not express how much i like this program. It is by far the #1 Registry Cleaner out there. That's my opinion and am sticking to it. I have used many of the higher rated and review Registry Cleaners from CNET and other places and i have had problems with many of them, but not with WinASO... not one.
The program has an easy to use clean interface. It's a little old but polished. Easy to navigate and simple to understand and use. What more can you ask for?
Limited trial and error fix. You will have to buy the program to do more, but it is well worth it.
I know many people hates limited trials and complain that they don't have a lot of time to use it to see weather or not if it works enough to buy it. But if it was given a full featured trial than what would there be the point of purchasing it? You have used what you needed it for and run off then they made no money. More and more people would be installing their program use it for what they needed it for and uninstall it and run off think about it. Software companies place a limit on their program hoping that someone would buy it and not just borrow it when it's convenient. The program is also stolen/pirated all over the web at that, it doesn't help. It still would be if given a full featured trial, because people don't like paying for things.
I have no cons...
"I have used this program for years" and never ran into a problem. This is one of the best "Registry Cleaners" I have used, and I used and tested just about all of them. Others with better reviews gave me problems, but this one didn't which is why i stuck with it and recommend the program to my friends.
People who uses and gives the program a bad name are just idiots and computer literate. This is the simplest Registry Cleaner out there from experience. People have a problem with no help support when they run into problems. Why should you have a problem? The program is very easy to use and straight forward even a novice can use it. If you have a problem after repairing an error the program allows you to roll back repairs encase of problems which i must say never needed to do. So again why would you need to contact customer support when you can roll back changes?
CNET doesn't give WinASO Registry Optimizer justice they complain that the interface is old and clunky, but yet it's all organized in a simplest manner and that the program launches after installation thought it didn't for me. Even if it does so what most programs do as well including Adobe Flash. Those are the only negative reviews they gave it and yet give the program a 2- 1/2 stars. Over 1200 users say otherwise. Just because it's not more modernized for your taste or in today's standards doesn't mean it's not a very effective handy utility for nearly anyone's toolbox. Poor review and rating in my opinion!.
Just upgraded my system to 8.1 lately and download the latest version of Winaso. I use the registry cleaner every two weeks with the help of built-in scheduler. So far everything works perfectly. Other free functions inside are useful. Overall, Winaso is a 5-star program for me.
