From University of Trento:
"WhatsUp?" lets you share pictures or short text messages with individuals or group of people you care about. It can be used both on iPhone and on iPad. The iPad version lets also people with limited communication capabilities communicate with each other by selecting the proper level of interface complexity. The app works both online and offline (in this case, messages are queued up and will be sent the next time you are online). Only the first time a connection is strictly required. This application is completely free. It requires only an internet connection when you are ready to share. You can easily log in with your Facebook account. No personal information will be stored.Instructions:-In order to receive messages from a contact, you must first invite that contact. Go in the "Contacts" section, press the "Invite" button and enter the email address of the person you wish to invite. If that person will accept the invitation, he will be able to share messages and photos with you.-To send messages to a contact you must first be invited by this contact.
What's new in this version:
The application has been radically changed. It replaces the "LifeShare" iPhone application and the "WhatsUp? Display" iPad application which will be soon eliminated.
