I've noticed that a lot of the reviews to be seem a load of nonsense and they can only be trolls.
Webroot will not slow down your system, crash it, give false positives or anything like that.

The reviewers who are giving poor reviews are probably not trolls. This software is installed without the knowledge or permission of the users. When you try to uninstall it gives a false warning that you are infected! I have been in the I.T. field for 30+ years now and consider myself an expert in this area. I am making sure that friends and family know about this site and the practice of installing software secretly and steering them clear of this site whenever possible as it took me much too long to clean up my system afterwards.
