    "Root Kits your machine. MALWARE"

    February 25, 2011  |   By DarrinWest

    Teaches you computer hygene.

Constant bogus popups warning you of false viruses. Almost impossible to remove. I had to download 3 different malware products and run one in safe mode to get rid of this thing.

Don't believe me? Google "internet security essentials". CNet, you should be ashamed of hosting this stuff. Try Lavasoft AdAware, and/or Malware Byte's Antimalware. I was running Microsoft Security Essentials, and stil got the infection. Maybe "someone" said OK when they shouldn't have.

    Hi there,
This is Greg from Webroot Support responding to your review.
It sounds like your PC is infected with a fake AV or other infection. It also sounds like you are reviewing a different product, as SecureAnywhere will only display a pop-up if it finds infections. SecureAnywhere has received very positive reviews by Cnet and our customers as well. It is the lightest, fastest most comprehensive security suite on the market. Unfortunately there are infections and fake av products that use a similar name and I think that is where you are getting confused.

If you do actually have SecureAnywhere you can receive free Technical Support by calling 1-866-612-4227 7A to 6P Mountain Time and they will be able to help.
