  "Not sure how to rate it - it wouldn't work for me."

  Pros

  Lots of effects, backgrounds and filters and pretty intuitive - at least what I was able to use.

  Cons

  Couldn't get it to record or take screen snapshots. Their tech support was very responsive, but unable to figure out why it wouldn't work - even this latest version. After about a couple of weeks of back-and-forth emails, I gave up and asked for a refund - which I haven't gotten a response to going on 3 weeks now! Also, when I tried to uninstall the program, files were left that kept a hold on my webcam. I couldn't delete them and finally had to download and use Revo to get rid of them.

  Summary

  I was really looking forward to using this program. I bought it right off without going through the free trial period and was disappointed when I found it un-useable and apparently un-fixable. And I'm more than disappointed that I've had ZERO response to my refund request. I guess I should have hit one of the umpteen links to the jack-leg free download sites that popped up on my Google search for WebCamMax instead of doing the right thing and paying for it!! One of those still might not have worked, but at least I wouldn't have been out $25!!!

  If you want to uninstall WebcamMax, please use the in-built uninstaller tool. Go to Start menu -> WebcamMax -> Uninstall WebcamMax and then it will be uninstalled successfully.
