I read the reviews and looked at the producers web page before I made the purchase. It gives the impression that you could web chat with your image over the backgrounds. It doesn't work. Tech support told me "...the background effects are not perfect on the program." Also, written instructions are lacking.
Summary
If you are looking for a software program for background effects to use with video chat don't get this one.

1. largest image resolution it could go up to was 640x480.
2. only the very basic operations are free, the rest are paid for.
3. the logo takes up a lot of space at the top of the image, it can only be removed by paying for it, there is not even and option to make it smallerSummary

"Good prog a bit CPU intensive, HATE the Ask.com bloat."

The program works well with Google+ Hangouts in particular to switch between multiple cameras or do PIP (Picture-in-Picture).
Cons
I HATE.. did I say HATE...? That the paid version still defaults to trying to install the ASK.COM toolbar and change your search settings with EVERY update. I'd accept this if it were free but detest it in a paid product.
Summary
I'd have given it a 4-4.5 star review if they didn't try to shove ASK.COM down our throats with each update of the PAID version.

Not a bad program. User friendly. I bought this program a few years back (lifetime).
Cons
I never have the program "on board". It hijacks my webcam in any program. Can't control that problem. The "ManyCam" webcam program has far more applications. The effects in "ManyCam" are more to choose from and generally better. I now really do do use this program. I wish that they would add more to the program. If I knew what I know now about these programs I would not have spent any money on this webcam program.
Summary
Shop around for something you will enjoy using with your webcam. I have "shelved" this program. I may use it at a later time. But for the present time it's a waste of money to me. My Best Regards to you other "web-brains".
