  Brings up immediate error message and fails to start on both of my Win 7 computers.

  Summary

  I've been unable to trial this program at all as it fails to start. I sent a message to WebcamMax Support quoting the error message and received a fairly stupid response, telling me that the newest release is now compatible with Windows 7 - even though I'd told them it was the latest release that I was using.

• Impressive utility for webcam

  This software is very well organized and has very user-friendly interface, which adds new effects and features, when we do video chat or video recording.

  Cons

  Logo size of this software is big. It takes lot of space at top of the image. It will be small, when we will buy it.

• Non Functional & Terrible Support

  Worked great when it worked. Used as a multi-camera switch for storm chasing.

  Will not work at all on two different systems after an update. No apparent way to downgrade back to a working copy as tech support will not acknowledge or respond to any emails.

  Summary

  Used this program for a month or so to the point where I actually bought two copies for two different machines. After an "update" the programs quit working on both machines. The only response from support was a cheesy canned response. "So sorry for the inconvenience brought you" "Please reinstall" Now 6 months later and uncountable updates and reinstalls I am still without working software and apparently out the moneys I spent buying this now worthless software package. Tech support does not even acknowledge my emails or my request for a refund after repeated attempts to contact them for the last 6 months. A very lame company in my opinion.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Jan 22, 2014<p/>After checking back and reading the post regarding GoPro Studio I was finally able to get some assistance and repaired my packages to working order.......

• The background effect doesn't work

  I read the reviews and looked at the producers web page before I made the purchase. It gives the impression that you could web chat with your image over the backgrounds. It doesn't work. Tech support told me "...the background effects are not perfect on the program." Also, written instructions are lacking.

  Summary

  If you are looking for a software program for background effects to use with video chat don't get this one.

  can do some good 'special effects'

  1. largest image resolution it could go up to was 640x480. 2. only the very basic operations are free, the rest are paid for. 3. the logo takes up a lot of space at the top of the image, it can only be removed by paying for it, there is not even and option to make it smaller

• Good prog a bit CPU intensive, HATE the Ask.com bloat.

  Pros

  The program works well with Google+ Hangouts in particular to switch between multiple cameras or do PIP (Picture-in-Picture).

  Cons

  I HATE.. did I say HATE...? That the paid version still defaults to trying to install the ASK.COM toolbar and change your search settings with EVERY update. I'd accept this if it were free but detest it in a paid product.

  Summary

  I'd have given it a 4-4.5 star review if they didn't try to shove ASK.COM down our throats with each update of the PAID version.
