Additional requirements
The WebMarshal 2.x program requires the following software:
- Windows NT 4.0 (SP 6a) or Windows 2000 Server
- Internet Explorer 5.x
- SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 7 SP2, or Microsoft Database engine (MSDE - a freely distributable version of SQL server).
- MDAC (Microsoft Data Acces Components) 2.1
- MMC 1.2
- (optional) Microsoft ISA Server, or another proxy server
- Provided that all prerequisites are installed, installation of WebMarshal does not require system restart. If installing prerequisites, please consult Microsoft documentation for installation order recommendations.
Hardware requirements vary by installation. However the following minimum requirements are suggested:
- Pentium II 350, 1GB HD, 128Mb RAM
- Additional disk storage may be required depending on the level of logging selected and the frequency with which log records are deleted. Higher hardware specifications may also be required for ISA Server support.
