Version: WebEx PCNow 2.0
"Same general idea as RealVNC, but easier to use and setup. Better than GotoMyPC"
Pros: Traffic goes through the web.
No addition setup required outside of installing the program. Since traffic is through the web there is no port forwarding that needs to be done.
Very fast program.
Just sits in the system tray silently.
If you have an AOL account you get this software for free. Goto AOL Beta (beta.aol.com) and try out the LinkToPC beta. Its WebEx for free.
Cons: Its not free.
It is quite expensive.
It requires more than one subscription if you intend to use the software on more than one computer.
Software isn't as responsive as RealVNC. RealVNC allows for faster and more responsive use of the remote computer. This is still the case even if you are using a computer on the home network.
Better designed for actual REMOTE usage as opposed to usage on a home network since the traffic is through the web and not through the network.

Version: WebEx PCNow 2.0
Pros: Brilliant speed is shown to users who use WebEx PCNow is similar to any version of VNC (already stated) but the viewer only needs an ActiveX control, the user does not have to remember their IP address or any other address other than the PCNow's homepage, where the server computer running the software registers itself on, al to be dont is click the name of the maching to remotely administer, then start. I have grown to like this product because it really is one of a kind.
Cons: I was first told it was free, but then about a year after having an account they changed to a paid service, however it costs near to nothing.
