Price is reasonable; tons of functionality built in; impressed with audting feature which nabs the add/remove program software listing excuding patches;easy to implement, tight active Active Directory integration; maps well to business workflow
Cons
Would like to be able to update Office documents on the fly within database. As such, have to save outside system and reattach - minor as the attachments capability is solid across all modules
Summary
Just plain simple to install - Although I manage a help desk as the sole employee, I could easily see this thing being run by enterprise class departments; users find the web interface easy to use; reporting module is very user friendly - use it to submit reports on insurance and out of warranty assets; I also like the report forum which is accessible from within the windows client; quick support response to what few issues I had (installation, IIS setup, etc)

Lightweight product, versatile, scalable, web interface, excellent audit program, comprehensive program that tracks equipment from purchase to disposal, EXCELLENT tech support, user friendly interface, enterprise class help desk install in 20 minutes

I want the product to integrate with my managed services offering - as in the service will generate an e-mail and Mouse Tracks will receive and update accordingly - wishlist

Built with network administrator in mind; intuitive; powerful reporting features; dead simple to learn and make the software fit your environment - looked at Numara - too large and cumbersome to install; small as MS Access Backend up through SQL Express to full blown SQL; enjoy the automatic e-mail updates when updating tickets from ither windows or web based clients; Auditing integrates with WMI and very quick; development is agressive - 3-4 major updates in last 2 years and very responsive to user enhancements; support is quick turn around; excellent Outlook integration; pricing is very modest for a 1 user to enterprise class product

Pros
I audited my entire network (150 computers) in less than 20 minutes! I didn't buy it for the help desk features but now I'm addicted to that portion of the program as well.
Cons
Last used date didn't seem accurrate for software products.
Summary
I love the PC auditing feature. It does a very accurate job of finding the software installed. I finally have a package that stores my IT information in a database rather than random text/html files.

Summary
Mouse Tracks has so many features. In 6 months of use we have logged over 1400 calls and automatically audited over 100 PC's and servers. We also keep our other inventory (printers, routers, switches, cameras, projectors, etc.) in the peripheral section.
Users can submit, view, update and close calls from the web. You can email users from within the program asking additional questions, updating status or closing a ticket. You can quickly convert a call ticket and resolution into a knowledge base article with the click of a button. The article can then be retrieved by users over the web or by a tech at their desk. KB articles can be made public or private (for IT use only). MT2003 has a documentation section that I track books, CD's and other material that is checked out to our users. You can track software assets with serial numbers and keys.
MT2003 has a purchasing section that we donÂ’t use but it seems fully functioning. The reports and charts have been used to justify the hiring of consultants due to call volume and project needs.
Most importantly, the support is great and they listen to your suggestions. I love Mouse Tracks and the mouse! -

Summary
I have been using Mouse Tracks Free edition arround 4 months, and despite a few things its a great program, very simple and easy to use. The audit tool its very useful.
