"Web Snapper...the best web page grabber ever"

    November 21, 2007  |   By bpwhistler

    Version: Web Snapper 2.0

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
TastyApps is a great company. RedSnapper was awesome. I never had a problem with it or them. They are offering a great deal if you owned Red Snapper previously. Go to their website and take advantage if this applies. You won't be sorry.

    "Nice Update"

    November 16, 2007  |   By bob.dopple01

    Version: Web Snapper 2.0

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I recently upgraded to Leopard and I miss the Red Snapper button, but TastyApps sent me an upgrade for Web Snapper overnight after sending them the requested original purchase e-mail. All fairly simple.

The e-mail they sent says they're working on a Safari button again! Looking forward to it.

So far, very happy with Red Snapper and the follow-on, Web Snapper. I'm pleased the turnaround time for the upgrade e-mail from TastyApps was quick too.

"Dump web pages in PDF format preserving links"

    November 16, 2007  |   By url1

    Version: Web Snapper 2.0

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
***** Nothing like that around *****

This product is simply an essential tool for any serious web surfer that need to dump web pages in a PDF format preserving links.

No page set up need, all is auto drive and the result is amazing.

I made many searches for another web snapper like product, and I can say that they kick out any other product claiming to do the same work.

    Stability = 100%
    Output quality = 100%
    Software design = 100%
    Price ------> unbelievable !!!!!

I hope they will develop soon a safari 3.x plugin, like they did with Red Snapper !

    "Red Snapper to Web Snapper"

    Version: Web Snapper 2.0

    Summary

I loved Red Snapper. I used it every day and was disappointed when it disappeared under Leopard. The new replacement is even better. TastyApps was very responsive and I had a new license within 24 hours. Thanks for making it right.

"Terrible and No Safari Toolbar Integration"

    November 14, 2007  |   By MAC_1984

    Version: Web Snapper 2.0

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Because it, like VideoBox (FLVR replacement) are standalone applications, and not part of Safari's toolbar, is terrible and makes no sense at all like it did before when it was called Red Snapper. And what is with all the name changes? Other developers like the one that does CosmoPod and TabExpose were able to figure out how to integrate into Leopard's Safari. What's wrong with this company?

    "Okay, it works..."

    Version: Web Snapper 2.0

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
...so I guess the info has to be updated...!? Anyway, contrary to Red Snapper the new Web Snapper now is a standalone application and not a plugin for Safari anymore...! :(

Too bad, I really liked the integrated approach much better...! BTW, there's also a new version of their movie downloader FLVR, now called Videobox -- and it's also a standalone app now...! Too bad...

But at least both do work just fine in Leopard, as it seems...

"A Handy Little App For Those Times When Nothing..."

    March 5, 2007  |   By MAC_1984

    Version: Web Snapper 1.1

    Summary

    ...Else Will Do
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I am impressed with this development team's response time, and the app. A jewel for those who like a record of eBay winnings without the chopped-up pages. You are very promptly sent a customized plug-in upon registration, and registration is good of the life of the version series (i.e. 1.x up to 2). So far, so good.
