Version: Web Page Maker 3.1
"Good Wesite Design Software for the novice."
Pros: Great for people who cannot code Html. Lots of features for a WYSIWYG program.
Cons: Has some minor limititaions that dont detract from the programs value. See Summary.
Summary: Overall a very good program for the people who have no knowledge of html. Very full featured and flexible. Things I like: The ability to import (not allways perfect) websites, either from the web or your harddrive. Support for flash video or slideshows. The ability to automaticly resize inserted images (for smaller size and faster loading of site) as well as convert text to images. Support for Meta tags. Spell checker.
Things I dont like: No ability to directly edit code. Doesnt seem to be able to upload files to any other directory other than root of server. I wish insertable shapes had smoother outlines. Included templates are few and fairly simple.
For what this program does - it does it very well. Highly recommended.
