    "The Best Around"

    by Tom101 on September 26, 2005

Pros: First of all, I've tried Dreamweaver, Sitespinner, and many others. All of them required knowlegde of .html, which I haven't got the slightest clue how to do. I am able to create dynamic, fancy, sites with all the bells and whistles : Flash, Audio, Video, and more. And what's even more amazing is that i STILL don't know how to do .html scripting. And don't think because i don't know .html i cant make a good site, because I have 20 different pages in my site. All of them are loaded with music and flash content I made personaly. I also have a password protected area, for my personal photo album area which only my family can view.

The Bottom Line: This program is the easiest program you will ever use to make a dynamic and rich website. I recommed this to all begginners, and experts alike.

    Cons: None =)

    "Not good."

by ReviewMan on August 17, 2005

Pros: You can move your text and images like block and that gives a flexibility of positioning. Good to design.

    Cons: Many Many Cons ...

[1] All Webpages are saved in Same Folder.

[2] Navbar does not get exported properly when used with different links on different pages.

[3] Exports each link image as seperate image for every Navbar on every page. In my website, there was a link FAQ on 4 pages and it exported FAQ (original & mouse roll-over) 4 times with different name everytime! Why so many images when even a new web designer knows to use same image and just give a different link!!!!!!!!

[4] Not much of Web Templates available.

[5] Support response is very slow.

All in all, I won't recommend this product to anybody. This product has a potential though. But Developers, I think, just rushed to launch it before making full-featured product. They might have got carried away by the potential of this software to evolve as an excellent product. But it's not at all an excellent product as yet and a lot of development is necessary.

    "Good for beginners only"

by kelc on May 25, 2006

Pros: Very easy to use, and has a couple nice templates

Cons: You can't directly change the HTML and you can't import an existing page. That means you have to throw your current website away and start from scratch. Ok, you can add code snippets but the software then places it somewhere strange (code-wise). The format *.wpm is not recognized by any other software, so you have to stick with Webpage maker.

If you create a menu the software creates a picture for every menu item; your code gets complicated, and contains way too much unnecessary stuff. That makes it hard to read for search engines.

"Gets the website done so you can focus on the products!"

    by jeffdogg1585 on July 23, 2006

Pros: I have solid HTML skills but use Web Page Maker so I can worry less about the website and more about my products and customers.

    In a nutshell its:

-Fast and efficient to adjust pages

    -Intuitively designed

    -Just plain great

I run a website that provides something akin to antivirus definitions and Web Page Maker makes it easy for me to publish updates on to my site. This means more time for me and my team to develop strings, do research and attend to customers. That to me is a good thing!

Cons: Some advanced features (iframes) are difficult to visualize in the WYSIWYG editor. For instance, an iframe shows up as a rectangle with the word iframe in it. You have no idea what it displays or even a quick way to find out what address is displayed in it.

    "Im blown away"

    by Stinger15 on December 11, 2005

Pros: I've tryed many web page creator programs and this one stands above them all. This program makes it extremely easy to do what you want. This is the only program that I could create a farely good template (I'm not a good template creator). So if your beginning on creating a web page, this program is recommended.

Cons: This problem has arousen in all web page creator programs. It's that you cannot copy the layout of the home page and put it on the rest of the subpages. But I may be wrong, I just havent found it yet.
