"A lot of fun and creative potential"
Version: Web Easy Professional 7
Pros
Very flexible, with a lot of creative templates and creative, easy to set in place scripts. Had a page done in 30 minutes, a whole basic site done in a little over an hour, and all without reading the instructions.
Cons
Program has a few irritating bugs that slowed progress down.
Summary
The creative potential is phenomenal if you don't mind learning all the ins and outs of this program. Even with the irritating bugs it is still a fun program that gets the job done.

"Don't Waste Your Money"
Version: Web Easy Professional 7
Pros
I have no pros about this product. I am extremely disappointed.
Cons
This software is very difficult to navigate. There is no written documentation, and even the "on-screen" help that appears is illogical and hard to follow.
Summary
You get what you pay for.

"Software upgrade ruined programs"
Version: Web Easy Professional 7
Pros
Not sure if there are any, since they updated the software.
Cons
Trying to upload website to GoDaddy difficult prior to updating software. New s/w version is much harder to use. Now I cannot figure out how to upload to godaddy. It always fails. The documentation is poor at best.
Summary
I had the s/w working fine until they updated it. Since then, things just don't seem to work as well as they did. I cannot figure out how to upload the finished webpage to my hosting site. Something has changed but no clue what. As much as I hate MS, I have switched to publisher as it is a standard program that offers excellent training and support. I guess you get what you pay for.

"Don't WASTE your time"
Version: Web Easy Professional 7
Pros
"Pretty" templates. Deceptively "easy" to learn. (See CONS). Cheap to buy.
Cons
"Deceptively" easy to learn, but it doesn't work the way you THINK it will. Cheap, PROVING that "you get what you pay for". Claims WYSIWYG, but it's NOT TRULY WYSIWYG. Things change when you finish editing, and view the results.
Summary
They call this a "Professional" version of the program, but your first clue should be that it's only $50.00. And mine was "FREE" (bundled with my computer). The first thing I noticed is that it's tricky at best to go back and edit text that you've already completed. If you use colored text (Rich text allows that), things get weird, and change colors when you don't expect it. "WYSIWYG"? Not really. I had too many times that when I previewed my work, it looked different than when I was creating it. Text enlargement, font size shift, graphics would sometimes move. There are other things I don't like about this program, but the MOST dis-satisfaction I found was their "tech support"! I had several issues that I escalated to them, and it took several attempts to get any answer, and most of them were WRONG!! For instance, their "forms" that you can insert into your web page, don't work, and their explanation is that it takes a "special" server of some kind for them to function correctly. NOT according to people I know who have degrees in computer engineering! Also, an email link didn't work for everyone. Again, their excuse on this one was that it depended on the viewer's "default" email setup and whether or not they were using Web based vs. Client based email. Again, NOT true. I had several people who had issues with the email link, and the combined "complaints" came from people using both Web based and Client based email with no correlation to what worked and what didn't. Finally, I had a question (another issue with the "forms") where it would insert a '+' sign in the blank spaces. Their excuse was that a SPACE is "not really a character", and that the program had to insert something as a place saver.....well, according to the ASCII table, "SPACE" IS HEX20, and therefore a legitimate character. When I challenged them on this, they made up another excuse about converting it to HTML....again.....poor excuse, since there's also and HTML entry for the "SPACE in the ASCII table. (And even IF they're explanation was true, why is this the first time in more than 25 years experience with computers....running CP/M, MS-DOS, Windows from 3.1 to Vista and everything in between, Amiga, and UNIX, that I've ever encountered this?) In short, I'm VERY dissatisfied with the tech support for this program. AVOID IT and find something that works as advertised! I'm still searching.

"Has some conflicts and issues"
Version: Web Easy Professional 7
Pros
Failry easy to use, drag and drop is easy and there are lots of generic templates to have a go at.
Cons
I have web pro 7 running on vista. Had loads of conflicts with it, got over them but my web site isnt recognised by search engines? i am told its something to do with boxes (drag and drop stuff) am not that impressed
Summary
Its not much use having a web site that isnt showing up on search engines. I am now looking for another web building programme to replace it!
