"Great weather app! Leaves competitors in the dust!"
Great selection of options for updates, alerts and display. I like the barometer graphic on the main interface--much better than just displaying a number--plus you can change the units for the number display. I love the ability to view the moon phases a week at a time, complete with graphic. Having a tool tip display when mousing over the tray icon is wonderful and even better that you can customize what information it includes.
It's kind of an annoyance to have to search for a font and size that will work for displaying the temp on the tray icon if, like me, you have trouble seeing the default Arial size 8 display, especially if you want the degree symbol to display. (Which I do.) Depending on which font and size you use, parts of the display may be cut off. Arial Narrow 9 seems to work pretty well for me (Since I only got about that far down the list--didn't really feel like trying every GD font on my system). Weirdly, though, this drops the degree symbol to almost the halfway point down the display. Whatever, I can see the whole thing now without any of it being cut off. Good thing temps never get into the 100's around here, though, or the "1" would get cut off.
I like the fact that you can choose from a large variety of maps, but I wish that you could get them to display within the main app window, as the hourly and daily forcasts do, rather than opening a new window.
Finally, although I have it set for automatic forcast updates, for some reason it does not seem to be working and I have to manually refresh.
