"By far and away the best weather program out there."

Has every conceivable option available including image displays of doppler, GOES, etc. Is totally international aware.Supports multiple cities. Can wash your dishes for free (i exaggerate .. but it really is amazing.) FREE!!!
Cons
None to speak of .. if I could change one thing I would make the line that says "Current conditions for: " and all similar labels be in a LARGER font so if you entered multiple cities its obvious at a glance which city you are looking at. .

I payed $ via PayPal within minutes of loading this program because it was quite obvious I found (finally) the best weather program on earth. Folks, I am not one to exaggerate .. but this is that good. Eminently customizable. Bells and whistles if you like them, but vanilla settings are spot on for the minimalists out there. Accepts your own custom maps (so for example, I added my favorite local doppler maps to display when I look at the "weather images" tab. All images can be viewed with an external viewer that allows you to size them to full screen. Hourly forecast, three day outlook, 10 day outlook, severe weather alerting (includes ability to send email on severe weather).skinable, wallpaper-able (not my cup of tea, but its available). There is literally nothing this app cannot do. And it passed every rigorous malware test I applied (version tested 2.2.4 build 4 .. ie, most current version).

"Best Weather program that works for UK!"

I did try 5 or 6 smaller and bigger applications, but they seldom work longer than 1 week, if at all! WP does exactly what I need from Taskbar - no fuss, no silliness. Easy to configure - Set it and Forget it - type of program.
Cons
It worked on XP for about 3 years apart from one security glitch which has been rectified - as I thought! On Windows 7 , with Security Essentials it gets removed immediately on download - something to do with Borland.
Summary
wish Author would rewrite that bit so I can use it again. I have tried some gadgets, but they take too much space for so little return, and some just don't work at all!
Microweather shows Temperature as (minus) 17C even on a hot day!
Weather Pulse is one of the nicest function orientated programs and Free too! I miss it badly! -

More options than any other free weather software, no frills, does what it's suppose to do nicely. New versions now with new features and fixes. I like the Weather widget plug-in and new alert marquee. Simple Gui that looks great on large monitors.
Cons
The new plug-ins are great but I'd like to see some free ones. The main program is free but the plug-ins so far do cost, they are inexpensive, I guess to keep the main program going but I think there should be free ones too.
Summary
I've used the software for years now. I've tried others but I always keep coming back to Weatherpulse. The gui is simple, I like that, it looks good at any resolution, is quick and provides great satellite viewing on any size monitors. It also allows you to add satellite images from any web site on the Internet, send forecasts to friends, print images, forecasts and alerts. You can even send weather alerts to your phone or favorite email address. Also included is a desktop wallpaper option, that rotates your favorite satellite from the Internet, keeping you updated with any changes as they occur. The web cam feature is nice too but the best feature I like is the Desktop Desklet plug-in, it's clean, looks good and people always want to know where I got it.

"Not worth it"

NONE..other than it's plain and simple.

Latest bug fix caused severe weather alerts to stop working, GUI to plain, cannot resize or change background color of desklet. NO SUPPORT!
Summary
I used this program for several years and was happy with it. A recent bug caused the program to stop updating weather conditions which was fix, however after a recent severe weather outbreak, I realized the local severe weather alert pop up no longer worked. I email this latest bug to their supposed support and have yet to receive a response. I've read that the developer no longer supports this program.
Bottom line, this program is not what it once was and I have removed it from my computer, there are other programs that are much better. I am now using Weather Watcher Live and so far I like it. -
"Alerts don't work with newest update"

Great program - instant accesss to the latest weather conditions, forecasts, and other weather info. And it's free!
Cons
Latest update was created to fix a major bug in the program. Supposed to provide severe weather alerts, but with latest update, alert function doesn't work. No tech support, so no way to get this fixed.
Summary
If it works properly, it is a fantastic program - active weather monitoring, alerts, up-to-date weather maps, and many other functions too numerous to mention. All in all was a great program, but until (or if) they ever fix the alert function, there are other programs that are better.
