"the best clock/weather program ever!!!"
Version: Weather Clock 1.2.3
Pros
I've tried several programs of this type - clock replacements & systray weather- but never found anything I liked or would use until now. I'm on a celeron 500 with 256 mb ram so my system resources are very limited. Every other program ate up those valuable resources & out they went one after the other. Weather Alarm Clock on the other hand is very resource friendly!! I don't get the slightest hiccup from it ever, even when it updates the weather every hour. The most memory I've seen it use is only 11mb & that's when I was actively working with the program settings. It uses 2-3mb of memory in nomral use & no cpu cycles!! I have my system extremely customized & use windowblinds v5.01. Weather Alarm Clock melds seamlessly with windowblinds & it has it's own customization settings. My task bars look great with the skinned taskbar & custom clock, very easily readable!! This program has so much available thru it, time sync, calendar & alarms, weather forecasts, & everything is customizable. This is easily the best program of it's type available!!!

"Best Of The Breed...BYE BYE WINDOWS XP TIME CLOCK..."
Version: Weather Clock 1
Pros
My Firewall is blocking Windows Time Clock Updater, so I thought "now is the time to find an addon program, that's better. So I thought: "wouldn't it be awesome to find ONE program to provide 1: a Systray Clock (like XP does) with more options, 2: Customizable Weather updates and 3: an appointment reminder." I thought it just made sense someone would have it.
GUESS WHAT? I FOUND IT! It does all 3 and ALLOT more.
PROS: Maximizes Systray space / Screen Real Estate by providing multiple "skins" so I found one that gives the largest font, using minimal Systray space. It also let's me choose what I want displayed and when I want it updated! THIS DOES IT! Awesome for the many of us with no High Speed options available yet.
I wouldn't think of being without it now.
Cons
You can assign one of a bunch of ICONS for each Alarm created. It tells what type it is, e.g. go somewhere, be somewhere, etc etc, which is ok, but I am suggesting the developer modify it to allow me to type in up to a 256 character custom name for an alarm. Knowing a bill needs to be paid is great, but having the ability to type a custom Alarm Name, and a few details about it, so I don't have to waste time trying to remember and/or look up "which bill needs to be paid" etc. would be AWESOME.
